El Periódico Mediterráneo - General9 September 2026 at 05:10

The PSPV of Benicàssim will have to choose between Paloma Pascual and Carolina Beltrán to decide who will lead its candidacy for the town hall in the 2027 elections. The current socialist spokesperson in the Town Hall and a former councilor formalized their aspirations and will face each other in the primaries scheduled for September 26.

Paloma Pascual is the current socialist spokesperson in the Town Hall of Benicàssim. Carolina Beltrán, for her part, is a former councilor of the municipality. Both candidates have already formalized their intentions to compete for the leadership of the party.

The selection process will be conducted through internal party primaries, expected to be held on September 26. At that time, PSPV members will vote to decide who will become the party's candidate in the 2027 municipal elections.
