Demand for physiotherapy grows in Castellón while professionals are lacking in the public sector

The demand for physiotherapy continues to grow in Castellón, but the incorporation of professionals in the public health system does not advance at the same pace. Although the province currently has 816 registered physiotherapists, 50 more than in 2025, there are still health centers that do not have these professionals. Waiting lists continue to be one of the main problems for accessing the service. This situation was explained by the delegate in Castellón of the Official College of Physiotherapists of the Valencian Community, Rocío Chiva.
