The Óbidos Opera Festival is preparing for the grand closing of the 2026 edition. On September 19 and 20, the Convent of São Miguel das Gaeiras hosts "Orfeo ed Euridice" by Christoph Willibald Gluck, in a production that brings together opera, dance, and a strong visual component.
Gluck's classical work will be presented to the public following other productions held throughout the festival, including "Cinderella" and "Cain." The closing marks the end of an edition that brought diverse artistic proposals to the audience.
The show promises to be a multidisciplinary experience, combining different art forms in a historic space such as the Convent of São Miguel das Gaeiras.
