The Socialist Party (PS) announced four conditions to make the approval of the State Budget for 2027 viable. The demands were presented by the PS secretary-general, José Luís Carneiro.

The conditions were revealed after the debate on the motion of censure against the Government presented by the Chega party, which was rejected in Parliament on Tuesday.

With these demands, the PS intends to condition its support for the State Budget for 2027, establishing specific requirements that the Executive will have to meet to guarantee the viability of the document.
