BAD approves 5 billion financing

The African Development Bank (ADB) approved a five billion euro financing. The instrument was designed to provide immediate aid to African countries.

According to the entity responsible for the loans, the financing aims to lay the foundations for stronger African economies. It also aims to make these economies more resilient and self-sufficient.

The ADB states that, beyond the immediate response, the objective is to promote a sustainable long-term recovery on the African continent.
