From PL to PSD, Cleitinho Lines Up Support for Candidates From Opposing Tickets for the Senate in Minas

In the race for the government of Minas Gerais, Senator Cleitinho Azevedo (Republicanos) declared support for candidate Domingos Sávio, who is running for the Senate under PL in the state on an opposing ticket. The endorsement was given yesterday, after participating in a demonstration against the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and in commemoration of September 7th in Belo Horizonte (MG). On the same occasion, Cleitinho also cited as an ally influencer Marco Antonio Costa, known as Superman and launched by Novo for the Senate. When questioned about who his candidates in the state would be, the senator said he would support "Superman and Domingos," arguing that "to confront the STF, it has to be both." Sávio, however, is part of Flaviano Roscoe's (PL) majoritarian ticket, former president of the Federation of Industries of Minas Gerais.
