Luís Neves, Minister of Internal Administration, admitted errors in his income declaration during a hearing before the Committee on Constitutional Affairs. The official guaranteed, however, that he never harmed the State.
The hearing took place this Tuesday and lasted about four hours. During the scrutiny by deputies, Luís Neves was confronted with the irregularities identified in his declarations.
The minister acknowledged the failures, but emphasized that his conduct never had the intention of harming public coffers. The Committee on Constitutional Affairs is the body responsible for this type of hearings of government members.
