The Quaest survey released this Tuesday places former governor Benedita da Silva (PT) at the forefront of the Senate contest in Rio de Janeiro, with 15% of voting intentions. The margin of error is three percentage points. Second place is held by former mayor of the state capital Marcelo Crivella (Republicans), with 8%.

Federal deputies Carlos Jordy (PL) and Pedro Paulo (PSD) appear tied at 6%, the same percentage as incumbent senator Carlos Portinho (PL), who is seeking re-election.
