The vessel Peixaranha, from Portuguese sailor Vasco Passanha, won the inaugural race of the J/70 World Championship taking place in Cascais Bay. This result marks the beginning of the international sailing competition that brings together various teams on the Portuguese coast.
The Brazilians from Oceanpact-Viking have taken the championship lead after the completion of the first day of races. The Portuguese team of Vasco Passanha achieved the best result in the opening race, showing good performance in the conditions of Cascais Bay.
