LFA 241 takes place this Friday at Mineirinho, in Belo Horizonte, marking the organization's debut in Minas Gerais. The main card will be broadcast live by ESPN 4 starting at 9 PM, while the preliminary fights will be shown on the LFA Fight Network on YouTube starting at 5 PM. The edition is brought to you by Monster Energy.
The main fight of the event will be the vacant bantamweight world title bout, up to 61 kg. Rafael Pereira from Minas Gerais faces Vinicius Pires from São Paulo in a matchup between two athletes with experience in the organization.
Rafael Pereira comes into the fight with five consecutive wins in the LFA and has not lost an MMA fight since 2018. Vinicius Pires will have his second opportunity to claim the title, after being defeated by Artem Belakh, the former champion of the division, in a bout decided by unanimous decision.
Artem Belakh's departure to compete on The Ultimate Fighter left the champion position vacant again, which made it possible to hold this title fight at the event in Belo Horizonte.
