Santos closed the signing of Everton Cebolinha, who was at Flamengo. The club's management convinced the player to accept a contract until the end of the season. The two clubs are already exchanging information for a joint announcement of the transfer.
Everton Cebolinha had several offers from Russia over the past few weeks and preferred to leave Brazil. For this reason, he refused approaches from Botafogo and Vasco. Santos' management had become pessimistic about the scenario and saw the connection with Grêmio as the only way to keep the player in Brazilian football.
However, during the process, Cebolinha was convinced to accept Santos. The player took into account conversations with Neymar and Gabigol, who, alongside the club's management, tried to convince him over the past few days.
With the agreement, Everton Cebolinha will leave Flamengo without costs. He will terminate his contract early, which was set to expire at the end of this year.
