The president of Chega Madeira, Hugo Nunes, carried out a working visit to the facilities of the Association "Os Grandes Azuis", an institution supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families in the Region. The visit took place late yesterday afternoon.
The initiative aimed to directly contact the board, the technical teams and the users of the association. Hugo Nunes expressed concern regarding the lack of specialized technicians in autism support, warning about this need in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The association "Os Grandes Azuis" is dedicated to supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorders and also offers support to the families of these people, playing an important role in the region with regard to this area of intervention.
