The special Nintendo Direct celebrated the 40th anniversary of "The Legend of Zelda" and brought a great amount of information about the expected remake of "Ocarina of Time." The game is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026 and will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2.
Eiji Aonuma, producer of the Zelda franchise, was responsible for presenting the game during the live event. In the demo, some of the new features and improvements of this new version of the classic were shown.
The presentation started in Kokiri Forest, an iconic location from the original game. It was the first time the audience could see the artistic design of the remake, which presents a much more detailed and elaborate representation compared to the 1998 game.
