Apple holds this Wednesday its traditional new product launch event at the Steve Jobs Theater, within Apple Park, in Cupertino, California. The event is scheduled for 2 PM in Brasília time. The expectation is that the company will present the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone 18 Pro Max and, for the first time, a foldable iPhone, according to Bloomberg information. Apple has not officially confirmed which products will be announced.
According to Bloomberg, the Pro Max model should feature a larger battery and a variable aperture on the main lens. This technology allows mechanical control of the amount of light entering the camera sensor.
In practice, the variable aperture can significantly improve exposure control in different lighting conditions. Additionally, the technology offers greater flexibility for depth of field effects in photographs. Apple also recently announced the M6 chip with unprecedented technology for artificial intelligence.
