Aitana Bonmatí did not win the Ballon d'Or this year. The Barcelona player, who was the winner of the last three editions of the award, did not even make the list of 30 nominees who will compete for the award of best player of the year.
The azulgrana midfielder was left off the list of candidates for the award, which will be presented at a ceremony taking place on Monday, October 26, in London.
The event in the British capital follows the ceremony that was held in Paris, taking over from the previous location.
