ProJovem Urbano is a program aimed at youth aged 18 to 29 who have not completed elementary school. The program has open enrollment for those who wish to complete this level of education and, simultaneously, obtain professional qualifications. The initiative integrates workforce training, citizen participation, and digital inclusion.
The goal is to serve three thousand students, distributed in one hundred classes, across 20 teaching units. The training will last 18 months, with the start scheduled for October 19, 2026 and completion in March 2028. Students will be trained for four occupations: school administration assistant, storyteller, student supervisor, and recreation leader. Each class will have seven educators.
Interested individuals must enroll at the chosen teaching unit. The schools participating in the program are listed on the Municipal Secretary of Education website. ProJovem Urbano will also offer reception rooms for students' children.
