Diego Sarza commented on the current Brazilian political scenario in the elections, highlighting that the public debate is very concentrated on the decisions of the Supreme Federal Court, rather than focusing on the programs and proposals of the candidates.

The latest Quaest poll reveals that Lula da Silva has 36% of voting intentions in the first round of the presidential elections, while Flavio Bolsonaro appears with 29%.

In an eventual second-round scenario, the same poll indicates a technical tie between the two candidates, with both reaching 41% of voter preferences.

Diego Sarza was responsible for analyzing and commenting on this data from the Quaest survey on the Brazilian presidential race.
