A study on the problems associated with the use of artificial intelligence in people management is being developed in Coimbra. The project, called GENDEII, focuses on analyzing the challenges and ethical implications of applying AI systems in the context of human resources.
The consortium brings together 109 researchers and institutional representatives from various organizations. These participants come from 24 institutions spread across 10 different countries, covering nations in Europe and Latin America.
This international collaboration allows a multilateral approach to studying the impacts of AI on people management, considering different cultural and legislative contexts. The project aims to understand how technology can influence decisions related to workers and candidates in various countries.
