The Spanish Government approved today the declassification, starting tomorrow, of all documents related to the Ceuta crisis that are in the hands of the Executive. The Spokesperson Minister, Elma Saiz, stated at the press conference after the Council of Ministers that "the will of the Government of Spain is that citizens access the available information because we have nothing to hide".
The Executive demanded that Alberto Núñez Feijóo behave "as a true opposition leader and as a statesman". The minister asked him to position himself on the side of the Government "with prudence and responsibility" and to stop "embracing conspiracy theories".
Regarding the statements by Minister Oscar Puente about Judge María Tardón, Elma Saiz defended that what the minister did, "as a good jurist" and "procedural expert", was to "value the importance of judicial independence in a State of law".
