The Chega party presented a motion of censure against the Government of Luís Montenegro, marking another moment of political tension in the Portuguese parliamentary sphere.
The motion is guaranteed to be rejected, since the Chega initiative is not expected to gather sufficient support for its approval, foreseeably counting only on the favorable votes of the party itself.
Other parties are expected to take the opportunity to criticize the maintenance of Luís Neves as minister, questioning the continuity of the Executive member.
This motion represents the third time that Luís Montenegro faces a motion of censure against his governments, demonstrating a context of continuous political instability throughout his term.
