A police officer from the American state of Texas approached a deer he thought was dead. The animal, however, suddenly moved, surprising the officer.

Caught off guard by the unexpected situation, the officer screamed and quickly backed away. The moment of panic was captured on video, showing the officer's reaction to the animal he thought was lifeless.

After the initial scare, the officer returned to his patrol car. The video of the incident went viral on social media, drawing laughter from many users who commented on the situation.
