Alijó hosted, on September 3rd and 4th, the second edition of the Pedagogical Days of the School Grouping D. Sancho II, dedicated to the challenges and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in Education. The Municipal Auditorium brought together teachers, educators, researchers, and national and international specialists to reflect on the integration of AI in teaching and pedagogical practices.
Over the two days, different perspectives on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on teaching and learning processes were presented, complemented by moments of debate, sharing of experiences, and experimentation with tools applicable to the educational context. Among the participating specialists were Luís Fernandes, Neuza Pedro, Bárbara Cleto, Dalia Kager, and Guillermo Medrano.
The days also addressed topics such as pedagogical innovation, planning, and collaboration among education professionals, in an approach focused on the critical, responsible, and conscious use of this technology. The initiative aimed to strengthen the training and valorization of teachers, preparing the educational community for the changes brought about by technological evolution and for the challenges of the school of the future.
The II Pedagogical Days resulted from a partnership between the School Grouping D. Sancho II and the Municipality of Alijó. The organization was handled by the newspaper A Página, according to the note sent to the editorial team.
