The Judicial Police (PJ) used assets seized from Rúben Oliveira, known as Xuxas, including sofas, televisions, chairs and gym equipment, in their premises. However, the PJ later discovered that a court had annulled, still in 2022, the ruling that allowed this use.
The annulled decision had been issued by Luís Neves. After the judicial annulment, the assets should have been returned or stopped being used by the police, but the PJ claims it was unaware of this judicial decision.
This situation arises in the context of a case related to Rúben Oliveira, a figure known for criminal activities, whose assets were seized as part of investigations. The discovery that the use of the assets had no legal basis raises questions about the PJ's procedures.
