The exhibition "Art beyond bullfighting", by António dos Santos, was inaugurated last week at the João Pedro Veiga Gallery, located in the Equuspolis Building, in Golegã.
António dos Santos is native to Golegã and is considered an unavoidable figure in national bullfighting, having built a life marked by bullfighting.
Beyond his career as a bullfighter, António dos Santos discovered a passion for painting when young, an activity he never abandoned throughout his life.
The exhibition thus presents a lesser-known side of this artist, exploring his pictorial production beyond the bullfighting universe that made him famous.
