PCP will abstain from voting on the motion of censure presented by Chega. This position was announced by the communists regarding a vote taking place in parliament.
For the motion of censure to be approved, it would be necessary to obtain the favorable vote of 116 deputies, which represents an absolute majority in Parliament.
This possibility has already been ruled out, since PS announced beforehand that it will also abstain from the vote, thus not guaranteeing the necessary votes for the approval of the motion.
