The Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, again reaffirmed that he will not present any resignation request. During his parliamentary hearing at the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Liberties and Guarantees, the official maintained that he will leave the Government only when the prime minister decides.
"No, of course not, I will not put my position at disposal," Luís Neves responded when questioned by a deputy about a possible resignation. The minister thus maintained the same position he had been defending previously.
The hearing took place at the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Liberties and Guarantees, where the minister provided clarification to deputies on matters under his jurisdiction. The deputy who asked the question is not identified in the article.
