The Municipality of Peso da Régua expressed its deep sorrow for the death of Nuno Magalhães da Silva Cardoso, which occurred yesterday. Nuno Cardoso was 64 years old and was a native of Peso da Régua, where he was born in 1961.
The politician held the position of president of the Porto City Council, which he held between 1999 and 2002. The note of condolence states that his connection to his hometown was maintained over the years.
