PCP will abstain from voting on the motion of censure to the Government presented by Chega, according to a source from the parliamentary group who spoke to the Lúsa agency. The motion, which is debated and voted this afternoon in Parliament, is guaranteed to fail, since only Chega is expected to vote in favor.
The Portuguese Communist Party justifies its position with the refusal to feed Chega's agenda. Over the weekend, during the Avante! Festival, the PCP's secretary-general considered there were several reasons to censure the Government, but refused to associate himself with the motion of the right-wing party.
