The Consell of the Valencian Community dissociated itself from any responsibility for the poor results of the PISA Report, in which the region appears as the worst ranked in Mathematics and Reading and with the biggest drop compared to the 2022 assessment.
The regional government attributed the blame for these negative results to the central Government, specifically to the law passed in 2022 by the then minister Isabel Celaá.
The Valencian executive also held the previous regional government, the Botànic, responsible for the poor performance, despite the PISA tests having been conducted halfway through the current legislative term, already with the PP leading the Generalitat.
