Three district football clubs from Alto Minho – Fachense, Vitorino de Piães and Âncora Praia – face the new season with distinct objectives. João Silva, 30 years old, takes charge of Fachense, where he was a player, intending to consolidate the survival achieved and elevate the team both in terms of rankings and performances, with a squad that maintained its core and received priority reinforcements. Ricardo Boucinha returns to Vitorino de Piães to continue a project based on youth development and a controlled budget, keeping the backbone of the previous season and trying to transform the home factor into a fortress. At Âncora Praia, Tiago Araújo wants to improve on the tenth place of last season, in a project that renewed approximately 90% of the squad, with strategic signings, important returns and integration of young players, aiming to move away from the relegation battle and get closer to the top positions.
