The municipality of Arganil still awaits government support to address estimated damages of four million euros resulting from a fire that hit the Piódão area. The situation has not yet been resolved and local authorities continue to request government intervention.
Luís Paulo Costa, president of the Municipal Council of Arganil, took advantage of the Justice minister's presence to demand concrete answers from the Executive. The mayor focused on two main issues: the damages caused by the fire in Piódão and the situation of the Professional Training Center in the region.
Regarding the Professional Training Center, the municipality also awaits government support to resolve pending issues. This facility is considered important for the training and development of the local community.
The Justice minister's visit to the region provided the president of the municipal council with the opportunity to alert the Government to these needs, emphasizing the urgency of responses that will allow the municipality to recover from the damages and ensure the functioning of essential services.
