This Monday, the Princess of Asturias, Leonor, lived two distinct first days on the Carlos III University campus in Getafe. One took place at the gates of the Adolfo Posada building, known as "el 9", where reporters, photographers, cameras and television programs were waiting since early morning for any movement of the heir to the Spanish throne.
The other took place just a few meters away, inside the building, where, according to those who spent the morning among its classrooms and corridors, practically nothing extraordinary happened. The students and people present in the building reported no special incidents during the morning.
This contrast between the lively media scene outside and the normality inside the campus reflects the duality of Leonor's university experience. The massive presence of media contrasted with the daily academic life that was taking place normally within the university's facilities.
