Zalazar wants to "go even further" in the Champions League

Correio da Manhã8 September 2026 at 01:30

The Uruguayan footballer Zalazar expressed ambition to take Sporting even further in the Champions League. The midfielder believes the team can surpass last season's campaign, in which they reached the quarter-finals.

Zalazar refused to feel additional pressure from the 30 million euro fee Sporting invested in his signing. The Uruguayan appeared relaxed regarding the transfer fee.

Sporting thus intends to improve their performance in the European competition, with the aim of surpassing the quarter-final mark achieved in the previous edition.
