A video circulating on social media shows the moment an Amazon-operated Boeing 767-300 cargo plane went off the runway and ended up straddled across a road near Miami International Airport in the United States on this Sunday. According to Miami Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, at least five people died and five more were injured, three in critical condition.
The footage captured the aircraft already off the runway, near a parking lot. The right wing began catching fire, followed by black smoke coming from the aircraft. Of the five injured, three are at a local trauma center.
The accident also left departures from Miami International Airport suspended until 5:30 PM. Details about the identity of the fatal victims have not been released.
