Chamusca hosts the sixth edition of FACIL – Author Fair of the Lezíria do Tejo

Chamusca is set to host the sixth edition of FACIL – Author Fair of the Intermunicipal Community of Lezíria do Tejo. The event will take place on September 18 and 19, at Largo 25 de Abril, next to the CineTeatro, between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The fair brings together authors from the 11 municipalities that make up the Intermunicipal Community of Lezíria do Tejo, giving the public the opportunity to meet and purchase works from regional writers and to interact directly with their authors. During the two days, the program includes meetings with local authors, book sales, storytelling sessions, poetry gatherings and children's entertainment, in a program dedicated to literature and the promotion of reading. FACIL thus seeks to create a meeting space between authors and readers and to give greater visibility to the literary production of the Lezíria do Tejo region. The organization is overseen by CIMLT and the Intermunicipal Library Network of Lezíria do Tejo. The full program for FACIL 2026 will be announced soon.
