Companies anticipate 3% salary increases in 2027

Spanish companies intend to maintain a prudent approach in updating salaries in 2027. This conclusion comes from the "Study on Salary Planning 2026", prepared by the consulting firm WTW, which analyzed companies' expectations for the coming year.

According to the study results, the median of the expected salary increase stands at 3%. This value represents the central tendency of the forecasts made by Spanish companies for salary increases.

However, when also considering companies that do not anticipate any salary increase, the average drops slightly to 2.8%. This difference between the median and the average reflects the existence of a significant number of companies that plan to keep salaries unchanged.
