The Castellón airport held a press conference this morning to review the 2026 summer campaign, which was marked by record-breaking results. The event featured the participation of the Airport Director, Raquel París Marín, the Third Vice President of the Generalitat and Counselor for Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery, Vicente Martínez Mus, and the General Director of Coasts, Ports and Airports, Marc García.
During his speech, Martínez Mus announced that the airfield will have a new connection to Ibiza next season. This connection is part of the broader strategy of the Generalitat to expand the airport's range of destinations.
With this new connection, the airport aims to strengthen its position as an alternative to the major airports of the Mediterranean corridor, offering passengers more travel options to both national and international destinations.
