The Castellón airport held a press conference this morning to review the 2026 summer campaign. The presentation was attended by the Airport Director, Raquel París Marín, and the Third Vice-President of the Generalitat and Councillor for Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery, Vicente Martínez Mus.
During the press conference, Vicente Martínez Mus announced that the airfield will have a new connection to Ibiza next season, as part of the strategy to expand the airport's destination offerings.
The summer of 2026 was marked by historic results, with more than 50,000 passengers registered in the month of August alone, thus establishing a new record for the airport.
This new connection to Ibiza represents another step in the expansion of the Castellón airport's route network, which has been growing consistently in recent years.
