Euribor rises at six and 12 months to near two-year highs

Correio da Manhã7 September 2026 at 11:00

The six and 12-month Euribor rates rose on Friday, reaching near two-year highs. This rise reflects current European monetary market conditions.

The three-month rate, on the contrary, recorded a decline, settling at 2.669%. Despite this reduction, it remained below the six and 12-month rates.

Following Friday's changes, the six-month rate stood at 2.797%, while the 12-month rate reached 3.116%. This configuration shows an upward curve of rates as the term increases.
