A delegation from the SHIFT Coimbra project — Coimbra Sustainable Tourism Large Language Models was in Salamanca, Spain, on September 3 and 4, to present the work developed in Coimbra and reinforce cooperation between the two Iberian cities.
The mission was led by councilor Luís Francisco Filipe and had as its main objective strengthening collaboration in the areas of sustainable and intelligent tourism between the two cities.
The SHIFT Coimbra project focuses on the development of language models applied to sustainable tourism, seeking to explore new ways of promoting tourist destinations in a more responsible and efficient manner.
This trip to Salamanca is part of a broader strategy of intermunicipal cooperation between Coimbra and the Spanish city, aimed at sharing knowledge and good practices in the tourism sector.
