Association distributes in Venezuela humanitarian aid raised in Portugal

The Association Friends of the Diaspora and Madeiran Emigrants is distributing in Venezuela humanitarian aid that was raised in Portugal. The association collected products to send to Madeiran emigrants and their descendants living in the South American country.

The products will be delivered to ten local institutions that will redistribute the aid to families in need. This initiative aims to support the Madeiran emigrant community in Venezuela, which faces great economic and social difficulties.

The association has been developing close work with Madeiran emigrants, seeking to address the most urgent needs of communities abroad. This is not the first time the organization has promoted solidarity actions destined for Venezuela.
