Ana Catarina Mendes, from the Socialist Party, participated in Sunday's edition of the program "O Princípio da Incerteza" (The Principle of Uncertainty), replacing Alexandra Leitão. During her intervention, the socialist directed several criticisms at the Chega party and its leader, André Ventura. Mendes stated that "she would not like politics to become captured by the craziness to which André Ventura has been accustomed," expressing her concern about the direction Portuguese politics has been taking. The program thus featured her perspective on national political current affairs, at a time when relations between the main parties are under strain.
