The third day of Rock in Rio 2026 took place this Sunday (6) and began with cold and rain at the festival. The mission of warming up the audience fell to São Toméan duo Calema, who opened the Sunset Stage, and the classic Barão Vermelho, who opened the World Stage.
The day's schedule also featured Baiana System, Jota Quest, and Ne-Yo on the Sunset Stage, in addition to Nelly, Black Eyed Peas, and Calvin Harris on the World Stage. The editorial team of O GLOBO published notes and criticism for the festival's shows.
The Calema duo began their performance two minutes late, and the area in front of the Sunset Stage was still relatively empty due to the rain. The duo's show was described as a mix of romantic and danceable, making the audience shake their rain ponchos during the performance.
O GLOBO made available an interactive game for readers to build their ideal festival line-up, as well as live coverage of the third day of Rock in Rio.
