Nicole, 36 years old, is said to have been the last patient seen at the clinic, having arrived on the morning when the team was informed of the closure.
When Nicole arrived at the clinic, the professionals had already been notified of the closure. The patient had come to have her eggs collected, a procedure that became impossible due to the sudden closure of the unit.
One week after the closure, the biological material of Nicole and other patients had still not arrived at the backup clinic, which was supposed to ensure continuity of treatments.
