On the third day of Rock in Rio, rain was the main star, and the accessory that became a sensation among festival-goers was the foot rain cover, originally popular among motorcyclists. Much more practical and cheaper than traditional rubber boots, this cover adapts to shoe size and features a non-slip silicone sole.
Makeup artist Mariane Rufato, 32 years old, was one of those who embraced the trend. She bought silicone models for herself and her husband, as well as covers with visors, ensuring complete protection against the downpour. According to her, the decision to prepare in advance was based on the weather forecast.
Electronics technician José Roberto Araújo, 42 years old, was also saved by his wife's proactivity. Christiane Alves, also 42 years old, bought a foot cover for him online, knowing the festival would be marked by rain. She stated that the piece cost only R$ 49 and that she plans to use it again on the 12th, if the weather conditions repeat.
