Pianist Maria João Pires announces 'online' academy

Maria João Pires announced the launch of the first edition of the "MJP Piano Academy", a space dedicated to piano teaching that will operate in an online format.

The academy represents a new stage in the career of the prestigious Portuguese performer, who is internationally recognized for her career as a concert soloist.

In parallel with the digital platform, in-person masterclasses will be available and will take place at the Centro de Artes de Belgais.

This initiative allows Maria João Pires to share her musical experience with a wider audience, through a distance learning model.
