The Judicial Police detained a 24-year-old young man on suspicion of having killed his grandmother in Mafra. The elderly woman, 73 years old, was stabbed in the residence where she lived.

The young man was detained by the PJ, which is investigating the case. The authorities did not disclose further details about the circumstances of the crime or the motives that may be behind the homicide.

The vehicle was occupied by five people from Foz do Iguaçu, and the driver stated he was transporting the wines to a friend in São Paulo.
