A Moroccan national migrant was injured after receiving two stab wounds during a discussion with another person at the Trampolín beach in Ceuta. The incident resulted in injuries to the migrant, who needed medical assistance due to the severity of the cuts.
The aggression occurred on the beach that is occupied by hundreds of people since the massive entry of migrants that happened on July 30 in the Spanish autonomous city, through the border with Morocco.
The area of the Trampolín beach became an improvised camp where hundreds of migrants remain since that massive entry, creating a situation of continuous tension in the area.
Local authorities have faced challenges in managing the situation of migrants remaining on the beach, many of whom await decisions about their migratory status or repatriation procedures.
