Guinea-Bissau expressed deep concern over the accident that occurred on Fogo island, in Cape Verde. The statement of condolence was issued after a bus crash on Saturday night.

The accident happened on the Cape Verdean island of Fogo and resulted in at least 25 dead. Several people were injured following the crash of the vehicle.
