Lula's dinner with businessmen and bankers had cell phones locked away

At the dinner hosted by President Lula for 16 major businessmen and bankers at the Palace of the Alvorada, which took place on Monday, all participants had to leave their cell phones at the entrance of the event. No guest was exempt from this rule, without exception. The devices were stored in a transparent acrylic cabinet, equipped with several lockers to accommodate the devices. The measure aimed to guarantee the privacy of the conversations during the meeting between the president and the business sector.
